Meeting Schedule
The county EMA office provides guidance, planning models, home study courses, and workshops on emergency management to the local communities and their EMA Directors. The EMA office hosts a number of monthly meetings including, the Local EMA Director Meetings, the LEPC meetings, and the CART meetings.
The Local Directors' meeting are informative and often include a workshop or training on specific topics pertinent to planning for emergency prepardedness at the local level.
Meetings with state staff (MEMA) are held in Augusta generally on a monthly basis. Many of the other meetings are also held on a monthly basis. Please see the meetings listed below for specific dates and times.
EMA Directors/EOC Staff
The next meeting for the Local EMA Directors and EOC Staff will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the EMA office.
MEMA County Directors' Meeting
The next meeting for the County EMA Directors
will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at MEMA.
Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)
The next meeting of the Knox County Local Emergency Planning Committee will be held on December 1, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the EMA office.

Community Animal Response Team (CART)
The next CART meeting will beheld on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. in the EMA office.
This will be an exercise on setting up an Animal Shelter.

"Windjammer '09" Full Scale Exercise Planning
The "Windjammer '09" Full Scale After Action Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camden Hills Regional High School in third floor Conference Room.

Knox County H1N1 Planning Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, November 12,2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the EMA office.
MCI Planning Meeting
We have entered the service level training phase .
Long Term Disaster Recovery Committee
The next meeting for the Long Term Disaster Recovery Committee will be announced at a later date.
PBARC -ARES/Races Cert. Emergency Communications Meetings
The PBARC Emergency Amateur (HAM) Radio operators meet on a monthly basis in the EMA at 1:00 p.m. The meeting schedule for 2009 is as follows:
