Knox County welcomes Andrew Hart as the newest County Administrator. It is expected that he will begin his duties May5, 2008.

On March 28, 2008 the Knox County Commission selected Andrew L. Hart of Rockport to become the next Knox County Administrator.  Mr. Hart was selected from fourteen applicants.

Mr. Hart has been the Town Manager of Union since 1994 and has served in local government positions for over 18 years.  He graduated from Camden-Rockport High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine in 1988.  He and his wife Sherri have three teenagers.
