Currently Knox County is seeking applicants for a part-time position of Programs Planner in the EMA office.

From time to time, the County has employment opportunities in Law Enforcement, Corrections and Communications. Job applications should be submitted to the Administrative Offices for processing.
All applications submitted must include the original signature of the applicant. If there are no vacancies, the submitted application will be kept on file for a period of time.
Corrections Officers
Part-time Corrections Officers: Part-time rate of pay is $10.00 per hour.
Full-time Corrections Officers: Full-time rate of pay is $14.11 per hour (Entry level) or
$14.32 with proof MCJA certification

Deputy Sheriffs
Part-time deputy sheriffs: Rate of pay is $15.24 with proof of completion of the
100 hour training course.
Full-time deputy sheriffs: Rate of pay is $15.24 (Entry level - 100 hour course) or
$15.45 with with proof of MCJA certification.

Emergency Communications
